If you’ve read my last few emails, you know I’ve been figuring out how to come up with a podcast name 🎤
I started with Unleash The Beast, which felt good at first but then started to feel a bit too expected and normal…
…found my way to The Morning Wood, which got great feedback and felt like it was the one…
…but then I discovered at least FOUR other podcasts with Morning Wood in the title (and probably more) 🤦♂️
The primary problem with that is if someone goes to Apple Podcasts or wherever and searches for “The Morning Wood” looking for my podcast, they might get confused and not know which one’s which.
So I scrapped The Morning Wood and almost went with The Raging Wood, though to be honest, people weren’t so hot on that one.
Rhiannon and David both rightly pointed out that it was a bit aggressive and might turn off women.
Max simply said “Lol is all i can say 😂 “.
Sonam seemed to enjoy it though, saying “The innuendo is so intense it makes you second guess if it actually is… You’re pretty sure it is… but theres only one way to find out 😉”
Then Joshua made an EXCELLENT point:
Google doesn’t really have multiple brands 🏢
They have…
- Google Maps
- Google Docs
- Google News
- Google Ads
- Google Cloud
- Google for Education
- Google Photos
- etc etc
It’s all Google… and everything sits under that brand.
Amazon does the same:
- Amazon Kindle
- Amazon Prime
- Amazon Music
- Amazon Web Services
- Amazon Robotics
- etc etc
One brand instead of multiple and everything comes under that umbrella.
I like that approach.
It makes sense to me.
And if it’s good enough for Google and Amazon – 2 of the biggest and most successful companies on earth – it’s good enough for Rageheart.
That’s why I’ve decided to follow Google’s and Amazon’s example – to use Rageheart as the primary brand name for everything I do.
Here’s how it’s going to work:

With that in mind, the podcast is finally moving forward again. The first 3 episodes should be done this week sometime so stay tuned for that 🙌
